The Lost Sheep of Israel

What a ringing denunciation of ecclesiastical leaders who not only refuse to seek out the sheep of YEHOVAH God's pasture -- that is, identify the House of Israel in the world today -- but who do not even deign to inquire about them or show any interest in their restoration to YEHOVAH God as His people!

When the twelve Disciples were called by the Messiah to follow him and he gave them power to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead and cast out demons, he forbade their going to the Gentiles or entering any of the cities of the Samaritans. Their mission was to proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom and that message is directed to the specific attention of the people of the Kingdom ALONE. So, the Messiah said: "But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand" (Matthew 10:6-7).

The northern, ten-tribed Kingdom, or House of Israel, was carried away into Assyrian captivity. During the long Seven Times (2520 years) of chastisement for their failure to keep the terms of YEHOVAH God's covenant with them, they lost the knowledge of their origin and identity. The Messiah designated them as "lost sheep," a fact confirmed by YEHOVAH God through the Prophet Jeremiah: "Lost sheep were My Race, whom their shepherds had lost in the mountains. They strayed about the mountains and hills, forgetting the way to their own home!" (Jeremiah 50:6 Ferrer Fenton Translation).

Because the shepherds neglected His flock and failed to lead them home -- that is, to an understanding of their origin and identity as YEHOVAH God's people -- the LORD calls upon the Prophet Ezekiel to severely condemn them. They are called false shepherds, for they consume the milk, wear the wool, kill the fattened ones, but they shepherd not His flock, with the result: "My sheep wandered on all the hills, and on all the high mountains, and over all the surface of the country the flock was scattered, and you never inquired or sought for them" (Ezekiel 34:6 Ferrer Fenton Translation).

What a ringing denunciation of ecclesiastical leaders who not only refuse to seek out the sheep of His pasture -- that is, identify the House of Israel in the world today -- but who do not even deign to inquire about them or show any interest in their restoration to YEHOVAH God as His people!

Therefore, through Ezekiel, YEHOVAH God dismisses these shepherds and announces: "I will attend my sheep and look after them...and rescue them from all the hollows where they have been scattered in the day of clouds and darkness." (Ezekiel 23:12 Ferrer Fenton Translation).

After setting aside the false shepherds, YEHOVAH God issued a call for fishers and for hunters to accomplish what the ecclesiastical leaders had failed to do: "Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith the LORD, and they shall fish for them; and after I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks" (Jeremiah 16:16).

The mission of fishing and hunting, in order to identify His flock and show them their home; that is, their origin, is being accomplished today in spite of theological indifference and opposition, and even the out-and-out refusal to investigate and weigh the evidence which substantiates the truth that the Anglo-Saxon-Celtic peoples are the House of Israel in the world today. That the sheep of His pasture had forgotten their way home, having become completely unaware that Abraham was their father, is made clear by the call issued through the Prophet Isaiah, to be heeded when the epoch finally arrives for them to be awakened and accept the truth concerning their origin, their responsibility and their destiny:

"Hearken unto me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: Look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged. Look unto Abraham, your father, and unto Sarah that bare you" (Isaiah 51:1-2).

YEHOVAH God declared through Ezekiel: "And ye My flock, the flock of My pasture, are men, and I am your God, saith the LORD God" (Ezekiel 34:31).

There is abundant proof that Abraham is indeed the forefather of the Anglo-Saxon race, through his son Isaac, to whom the promise was fulfilled, that "in Isaac shall thy seed be called" (Genesis 21:12); that is, I-sacsons, sons of Isaac, or Saxons. Observing the awakening that is taking place, we are constrained to repeat with reverence the 100th Psalm of Praise:

"Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: Come before His presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD he is God: It is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise: Be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting; And His truth endureth to all generations."
